Vitamin B
One of the two types of water soluble vitamins is Vitamin B Complex
When we say vitamin B complex, we are actually referring to a collection of vitamins - thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), pantothenic acid (B5), pyridoxine (B6), biotin (B7), folate (B9) and cobalamin (B12). While each type of vitamin has its own specific function, the overall vitamin B complex is important for energy, metabolism, cell health, immunity and brain function.
Common sources of vitamin B complex are eggs, milk, beef, chicken, turkey and pork, salmon, leafy greens, liver, legumes and shellfish.
